Joanna A. Waldron is a senior associate at Curtin & Heefner LLP. She has experience resolving environmental, land use and local government issues. She has worked with local municipalities on behalf of the waste industry and landfill clients. Joanna is a graduate of Penn State University, College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, and earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was on the Editorial Board of the Virginia Environmental Law Journal.
Ms. Waldron is a member of the Public Sector and Environmental groups at Curtin & Heefner. She has defended environmental professionals, engineers and businesses in tort, products liability, contract and class action litigation cases in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Ms. Waldron has also litigated toxic tort, construction and insurance matters. She has worked with municipalities in cost recovery landfill litigation and has counseled clients regarding regulatory compliance and permitting matters involving brownfields, groundwater, stormwater and air emissions. Ms. Waldron regularly evaluates environmental risks associated with the sale, development and transfer of contaminated properties on behalf of clients.
Ms. Waldron began her practice in Washington D.C. where she advised domestic and international companies on matter pertaining to U.S. Customs, International Trade Commission, Office of Foreign Asset Control and petroleum taxation.

Ms. Eileen Snyder has 30 years of environmental consulting and chemistry experience, including management of environmental projects and programs in accordance with state and federal environmental regulations, including USEPA RCRA Corrective Action, CERCLA, Superfund; SARA; PA Act 2; PA Act 32; NJDEP Site Remediation Program, ISRA, ECRA, BUST, and UHOT, NPDES permit requirements. Ms. Snyder holds a BA in Biology/Chemistry from Wheaton College and an MA in Envionmental Policy from Tufts University.

Amy Pack Caffarella is a Scientist at Geosyntec Consultants in the air practice division of the Environmental Management group and supports clients’ environmental consulting needs in a variety of industries. Mrs. Caffarella is experienced in air quality dispersion modeling, environmental permitting and compliance, and ambient air and meteorological monitoring projects. Previously, Mrs. Caffarella has worked at other local consulting firms and for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Mrs. Caffarella holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology with a concentration in Air Quality from The Pennsylvania State University. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Sustainability and Environmental Management. Mrs. Caffarella has been a member of SWEP since 2007 and currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Community Outreach and Public Relations Committee. She is also active on the Programs, Scholarships, and Touchstones committees.

Kaitlyn R. Maxwell is an associate in the Environmental Practice Group of Greenberg Traurig, LLP where she represents businesses in environmental litigation and advises clients regarding environmental liabilities in connection with the acquisition, transfer, financing, and sale of contaminated real estate. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Linda K. Caracappa in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. During law school, Kaitlyn was the vice president of the Environmental and Energy Law Society and received the Pennsylvania Bar Association Environmental and Energy Law Section Internship. Before attending law school, she was an environmental planning and project management consultant. Kaitlyn earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, with Departmental Honors in Law and Policy from Dickinson College.

Kelsey Gibbons is a Senior Financial Analyst at Amtrak, where she has experience working on waste minimization, energy audits, energy conservation projects, renewable energy and utilities management. Prior to her work in the Utilities Management Group, she worked on recycling logistics as an Environmental Specialist at Amtrak, and spent a year at PECO Energy as a Contractor Liaison. She obtained her Masters in Applied Geosciences with a focus on Environmental Geology from the University of Pennsylvania, and her undergraduate degree is in Environmental Science from Drexel University. Kelsey was the recipient of SWEP’s 2012 Graduate Scholarship is now the chair of the SWEP Scholarship Committee.

Amy Corr is ESC Lab Science’s Mid-Atlantic Account Manager and has worked in this role since 2012. She has 20 years of industry experience, with over 15 years in the analytical testing arena and 5 years in consulting with a company that specialized in DOE waste management projects. Her project management and business development experience includes supporting clients’ projects and programs in accordance with state and federal environmental regulations, including USEPA RCRA, CERCLA, Superfund; PA Act 2; NJDEP Site Remediation Program, and oil and gas development within the Marcellus Shale. Amy earned a BS in Biology from St. Joseph’s University.

Sarah Silver Luksenberg is an attorney with Langsam Stevens Silver & Hollaender LLP where she focuses her practice on environmental law. Sarah is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the District of Columbia, and before the Supreme Court of the United States. Sarah is an active member of the Delaware Valley Environmental American Inn of Court where she has served on the Executive Board, and she is currently a Vice Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association Energy and Environmental Law Committee. Denise Molzahn is an environmental management and sustainability professional with over 30 years of industry and consulting experience. She has extensive experience developing strategies and implementing programs related to environmental compliance, risk management and sustainability in electric utility, manufacturing, and aviation / aerospace industry sectors. With a strong background in plant operations and engineering, she is adept at developing and implementing programs focused on aligning operations with corporate policies. Denise holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Marine Biology and Chemical Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware.

Nora Pearse-Nimmerichter is a geologist at BSTI where she is responsible for environmental site assessment, technical report writing, data evaluation and regulatory compliance. She assists in the management of multiple assessment and remediation projects located primarily in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. Nora is actively involved in the Girls in Science and Technology Program, founded by the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center, and volunteers as an advisor to the board for the Challenger Learning Center Philadelphia Chapter. She is a graduate of West Chester University where she earned her Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Geology.

Yolanda F. Pagano leads the sustainability practice at OBG enabling clients to manage risk, transform operations, spur innovation, and secure competitive advantage through strategic sustainability. Yolanda began her career with KPMG, then joined PECO Energy, where she led and implemented large-scale programs focused on energy; environment, climate change and sustainability; legal restructuring; and public policy. She has been a member of SWEP since 2003 and served as a member of the Programming Committee. Yolanda was awarded her J.D. from the Villanova University, School of Law and her B.S. in accounting from Saint Joseph’s University. She serves on the Board of Directors of A Call to the Bar: Lawyers Addressing Climate Change, is a founding committee member of the Villanovans for Sustainability, and serves on the PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies External Advisory Council at Montclair State University. She is also an adjunct instructor of the Sustainable Facility Professional Certification class at Villanova University.

Jennifer Poole is a geologist at Amec Foster Wheeler in the Environment & Infrastructure business unit where she specializes in subsurface field investigations and remedial investigations at industrial sites. Ms. Poole is responsible for field investigations, reporting, and remediation programs for RCRA, CERCLA, NRCS, ISRA, IEC, and Act 2 sites in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Prior to joining Amec Foster Wheeler, she worked as an exploration geologist & geochemist at an oil and gas exploration company and has also worked in numerous environmental laboratories. Ms. Poole has her Masters of Science in Geology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ms. Poole is active in the Philadelphia chapter of the Sierra Club’s ICO and is a mentor with Philadelphia Futures. Ms. Poole has been a member of SWEP since 2013 and is a member of the Scholarship and Grant selection committee and as well as the Touchstones and Programs committees.

Ann Smith is an Environmental Sales Executive with Eurofins-QC. She has over ten years’ experience in environmental services and project management in a variety of industries –from manufacturing, energy, education, transportation, and pharmaceutical to various government agencies. She has extensive environmental experience relating to waste management, waste characterization, hazardous material inventories, environmental remediation, field sampling, and asbestos abatement. Ms. Smith also has experience with storage tank (AST and UST) management and cleaning, tank removals, site investigation and remediation; and fuel system maintenance. Her experience also includes estimating, site assessment, staffing and scheduling, client correspondence, project management, regulatory permitting, invoicing, billing, reporting, and proposal writing. Ann earned her BS from Immaculata College.

Beth Witouski is currently the Business Development Manager at Suburban Testing Labs, located in Reading, PA. Her 26 years of environmental industry experience have included time spent at the bench-level in the laboratory in the microbiology, metals, extractions and general chemistry areas. In her current role, Beth utilizes her gained knowledge and experience to assist the laboratory in acquiring needed insight to pursue advanced technical markets in PA, NJ, DE, MD and beyond. She serves as a mentor to sales, customer service and laboratory staff, and has direct responsibility for business acquisition and growth of new accounts and new markets. She regularly attends and presents at industry events, seminars, trades shows and industry associations.
