Qualifications:
• B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• 1-5 years of wastewater engineering experience, recent graduates also considered.
• Ability to prepare concept drawings, documents, maps, reports and support documentation.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Design experience with Auto Cad (is a plus but not required).
• Knowledge of wastewater planning and zoning process.

Brief Description of Job: Laboratory analysts generate analytical data supporting environmental compliance and decision making. Analyses are performed following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on EPA approved analytical methods using a variety of analytical techniques, equipment and instrumentation. Each analyst is assigned a group of analyses in one of the laboratory departments. Analysts use the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to identify samples to be analyzed, generate analytical data and enter the data into the LIMS.

Suburban has both full and part-time positions open in all of the following departments: Microbiology, Inorganics, Metals, Semivolatiles, Volatiles and Field Services. Positions are open for traditional shifts, modified shifts, 2nd shift and evening/weekend shifts.
