Chris Goodell (Kleinschmidt Associates) will be discussing techniques for dam breach modeling using the HEC-RAS software program. He will cover both the conventional breach parameter definition as well as the Simplified Physical breach approach and will also discuss strategies for building fast and stable HEC-RAS dam breach models.
Chris will discuss probabilistic dam breach modeling using McBreach with HEC-RAS. A free version of McBreach will be available for all that attend.
