Redlining and Philadelphia: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Speaker Series

Join Jill Roberts, Director of Advocacy, with Clarifi, as we discuss redlining and the impacts it continues to have on the Philadelphia community.
While the act of redlining neighborhoods, a discriminatory practice in which services were withheld from potential customers who resided in neighborhoods classified as “hazardous” to investment, is no longer actively practiced by the US Federal government, its effects are still being felt.
Please note that “hazardous” initially meant the people, but now we understand that the “hazardous” was not just the practice but also the land that the people were allowed to live on. Join us for an hour-long discussion on February 22, 2022 on redlining and Philadelphia and organizations, like Clarifi, who are actively working to change the landscape.
Registration is open until the time of the event or until we reach capacity allowed by Zoom.

Members- Free, with suggested donation of $15
Non-members- Free, with suggested donation of $25
