It is still that time of year, the nope ropes (or danger noodle, if you prefer) are out so, as a safety precaution for all those who register for the hike, we would like to communicate the dangers of copperheads and rattlesnakes in this area. Chances are high that you will encounter one during the hike, so it is of the utmost importance to understand the risk and prepare accordingly, by wearing the right shoes and clothing (we highly recommend tall hiking boots with pants).
