Rebecca (Becky) Buchanan is an accomplished Environmental Manager at AECOM, based in their Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, office. Leading a talented team of GIS Specialists, Environmental Scientists, Ecologists, Permitting Specialists, and Geologists, Becky is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in the field.

A Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) and an AECOM Certified Project Manager, Becky brings over 15 years of extensive industry and regulatory experience to her work, primarily focusing on the utilities and renewables sectors. She began her career in the state regulatory sphere with the Lancaster County Conservation District, followed by a role at a regional electric utility in Pennsylvania, before transitioning into consulting.

Becky is actively involved in several professional and social organizations, including the Society of Women Environmental Professionals (SWEP) Greater Philadelphia Chapter, the United Women’s Hockey League, Trout Unlimited (Mountain Laurel Chapter), and the Delaware Women’s Fly-Fishing Association.

She earned her dual degree in Geography and Regional Planning (with a concentration in GIS) and Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Becky is an avid fly fisherwoman, tennis enthusiast, ice hockey player, hiker, and devoted Phillies-Fanatic. She and her wife enjoy vibrant city life in Philadelphia with their beloved dog, Willoree.
