SWEP 2013 Scholarship Deadline

SWEP announces the 2012-2013 Academic Calendar Scholarship Application!

Each year, SWEP Greater Philadelphia awards one graduate and one undergraduate scholarship to women studying to pursue environmental careers. SWEP presents these scholarships to outstanding young women as part of its mission to encourage and promote the leadership, achievement, and professional development of women in the environmental field.

SWEP is announcing the availability of two (2) scholarships for women pursuing environmental-related degrees in the 2012-2013 academic year:

• $2,000 for a woman in her undergraduate Junior or Senior year.
• $3,000 for a woman pursing a graduate or law degree.

Click on the Scholarship Application Link to the left for this year’s application form and instructions. Completed applications are due no later than December 31, 2012.

Scholarships will be awarded at a SWEP networking event in Spring 2013. Winners will also be awarded a one year membership in SWEP and will have the opportunity to attend educational meetings and networking events with other SWEP members.
