Save the Date: SWEP of Greater Philadelphia will hold a brown bag Professional Development Program on The ‘New’ Interview Age & Social Media Networking Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Location: Chapel Conference Room in Amtrak’s 30th Street Station, Philadelphia, PA
When you arrive at 30th Street Station, proceed to the elevators to the left of the ramp leading up to SEPTA (towards the NW side of the building, not the elevators near Au Bon Pain) to be escorted to the 2nd floor meeting room.
Time: Registration at 5:30 pm / Program from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Program Fee: $10/person SWEP member; $0 Students; $20/person non-member
Bring Your Own Snack: This is a brown bag program – bring your own snack from home, or pick up something in 30th Street Station. SWEP will provide cookies for dessert.
Program Topics:
The ’New’ Interview Age & Social Media Networking seminar will highlight new trends in interview skills and career marketing techniques and present information addressing the Pros & Cons of utilizing Social Media outlets as a means of networking. Participants will be encouraged to share their interview and networking experiences.
The program will have an estimated presentation time of 50 minutes followed by roundtable discussions and a Q&A session.
Program Presenter: Susan Shelton, Program Manager, W2E USA, Inc. Susan possesses more than 20 years of career experience in environmental consulting, recruiting program development, and evaluation of engineering programs related to solid waste management and energy capture systems.
With volunteerism as one of her passions, Susan has grown and cultivated global network with government, public sector, private and academic entities through her support of non-profit agencies and academic-based interest groups on a national and international level. Susan is currently the Installation Restoration Program Manager for the 99th Army Regional Support Command out of Joint Base Maguire Dix Lakehurst (Ft. Dix, NJ) and the Army Environmental Command in San Antonio, Texas.
