2024 Grant Application - Now Closed

Each year, SWEP Greater Philadelphia awards grants to help fund organizations or programs that creatively address a locally-defined need to create, enhance, restore, or protect the natural environment or to provide environmental awareness through educational sessions, with particular emphasis on encouraging girls and/or women in the sciences, engineering, or environmental fields. SWEP presents these grants to encourage girls and/or women to pursue fields focused in STEM.

To be eligible for a grant, applicants and projects must be located within the Greater Philadelphia Area, which includes southeastern Pennsylvania, northern Delaware and southern New Jersey.

SWEP is excited to announce Berks Nature and The Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center as the selected applicants of two small grants for the 2024 year!
